Setting Student ID Options

As the administrator, you may determine whether student IDs are required for every student in the database, and whether you would like Learner Profile to generate these IDs automatically. By default, Learner Profile does not require each student to have a student ID. To require all students to have an ID, follow these steps:

1. Choose STUDENT SETTINGS… from the Admin menu.
2. Click on the radio button labeled "Require student ID for each student."
3. Click OK to save these changes.

If you require that all students have an ID, you may have Learner Profile automatically generate identification numbers for you. Select REQUIRE STUDENT ID FOR EACH STUDENT and then check the box labeled "Automatically generate student ID."
